Val (pictured here in Australia with her friend Kylie) has been in the business of creating spectacular hand made jewellery for the past two and a half years.

She unfortunately had to have a knee operation which rendered her almost completely immobile and feeling very frustrated. Her husband bought her a jewellery making kit which he thought would be good therapy for her and to keep her spirits up.
Val, who has always had an artistic flair tried to follow the instructions but soon became bored with the ‘designs’ and decided to create her own. This led to a real passion for this intricate art.

In April last year Val was given the opportunity to take over a little shop at Blake House Craft Centre. This shop has since been transformed into a sparkling Aladdin’s cave of the most exquisite jewellery and gifts.

Val spends many hours creating some of the most beautiful jewellery and accessories. All her designs are original and are created with an incredible eye for detail and an innate feel for colour and design.

Val’s wedding jewellery can all be made within a particular theme and this can follow through from the tiara and bride’s jewellery, the bridesmaid’s tiaras and jewellery, the grooms jewellery and accessories and even to the parent’s accessories and gifts for the important people on the day.
